This is what you have in your mind when you sent out on your way to make a name for yourself. That corner stone, that all important first step, the start of the journey, everything revolves around you getting a piece of what Sydney jobs have to offer you.
There is, however, a slight problem. Most of the employers don’t really care about you or your path in life. All they want is someone that can work a lot of time, doing a lot of things at an exhaustive pace, for a really small amount of money.
This is the real job market and the real employment situation in Australia, and even though you think you can make a difference, and you can change something within the system, you can’t.
When we’re talking about jobs in Sydney, we’re talking about some of the most devastating effects that the recession had. Rising real estate prices, rising taxes, everything is rising except the actual wages.
That being said, the lack of investors and developers has put Australia in a very difficult spot, because of the fact that there are no new jobs on the market. So if you pick up a newspaper in Sydney and check the “help wanted” ads, you might find fewer and fewer ads each day, not to mention the fact that every single job has the wage too low to even consider.
Whether you like it or not, the wage must cover all your expenses for that month, plus a little extra, and 90% of the jobs offer minimum wage, which is fine if you’re living with your parent, have absolutely no intentions of having a relationship, don’t have any plans to start your own family, and most of your money goes on video games. Bu for the rest of us, that will certainly not suffice, at all.
Searching for jobs is a real pain in the ribs, and we can clearly see why. There is a very long waiting time, we wind up applying to several jobs at once, we get disappointed quickly, we have problems getting where we want to get, and all that while we don’t even have a paycheck to begin with.
There are, however, places like “The Job Factory”. What these websites do is employ the world’s best job hunters and scouts around, and put them at your disposal, and all you have to do is register with them, send them your credentials, diplomas, achievements, resumes, and whatever you feel might be relevant to your situation, followed by a message saying “Help me find a job in Sydney”, and they will get right on top of the situation.
There is no need to get worked up over the situation that you are in. I know that it is not a comfortable place to be at right now, however these guys are mode than determined to help you, and if you go to them, I guarantee that they will find the perfect job, tailor made for you.
